getting back in the game...

After several months of planning....I finally exhibited at a "bridal expo" here in Chicago. Oakbrook to be exact. It was a fairly large investment for me, but I felt it was necessary to do to get myself back into the market here after being gone for almost three years in Cleveland! I'm happy to be "home", however, I had a great thing goin' in Cleveland... a lot of word of mouth business from happy brides. I'm hoping to get back into the game here and this show was a great way to start.

I took a very creative approach to my booth...rather than the regular old vinyl sign and boring white tablecloth...I wanted my space to reflect my design aesthetic : modern. simple. unique. I took these pics with my iphone so the quality isn't the greatest......

Everything was handmade, repurposed or reused from items I had in my own home. I really liked how it turned out and I've already set five appointments with some adorable brides-to-be! I can't wait to get things started again.
